A week or 2 ago our beloved Sophie passed away. She got injured and ended up in a lot of pain with her lower half being completely paralyzed. She had to be put down. It was a sad day in the Williams house. Poor James was here when it happened. If he could handle Danny and me crying and nose wiping all day, he can handle anything on his mission. The day she passed we were offered a puppy, for free. I wasn't too sure about the whole thing at first. But, after watching Kirk "walk" a ball hooked up to Linky-do's I decided the poor kid needed a dog. She is half dachshund and half pomeranian (did I spell those right?). Her name is Agnes and we love her. Although, it wasn't my best idea to bring a a new puppy home in the middle of everybody having the flu. Oh well. She is definantely loved by one sweet little boy!

Why is it?
Why is it that if you have a naked white lady on a movie it's porn and they rate it R or X but if you have a naked black lady in Africa it's science and they rate it G? Boobs are boobs people.

NEEDED:
Babysitter who doesn't mind getting the flu. Must be able to change diapers, administer meds, walk the puppy, and bring me chocolate fudge pops every 15-20 minutes.

of course
I'm pretty sure Danny has the flu. He has been on the couch for the past 24 hours with a high temp, sore throat, vomiting, and so forth. I asked him what he wanted for supper tonight- I'd cook or buy anything. His choice. What does he send me after? Cheese sticks and bubble tape. Typical Danny.

Goal Update
A few months ago, I posted this:
Goals
I am quite the goal oriented gal. However, my goals are usually slightly outlandish. Like my goals for the rest of the year. They include:
-Lose 20lbs
-Potty train Kirk
-Get Joey to sleep through the night (hopefully sooner than later)
They might be kinda hard, but I honestly believe I can get them all done. I already have the treadmill going, we have a small stock of Buzz Lightyear briefs, and well, I think Joey loves me enough to sleep all night, don't you?
PS
I also, apparently, need to learn how to spell.

So.....I suppose you are wondering how things turned out.....
-Lose 20lbs- yeah, more like 5 or 10, but I'll take that.
-Potty training- Urg, don't even go there. Poor Kirk, he hates underwear. I don't know why. He screams and runs away in fear. We have Toy Story AND Yo Gabba Gabba and he still prefers Parents Choice diapers. Don't really know what we'll do about that.
-Joey's sleep- He actually started sleeping through the night not long after I posted these goals. He likes me (or just feels sorry for me).
-I still haven't learned how to spell.
I guess 1 out of 4 ain't bad..... :-)
My goals for the next 6 months:
Make it out alive!

Today....
#1- Yesterday it snowed. A lot.....for Mississippi anyway. We got 8-9 inches here in Boonevegas! We ghetto sled in plastic tubs, made snow cream, hooked a sled up to the gator, made a snow man, and made home made hot chocolate. It was AWESOME. We had such a great day! And a shout out to my mom who baby sat Joey nearly all day so we could have some fun! Thanks, Mom!
#2- More positive test results for Joey! From a MRI we had done a month or so ago we learned that he has some brain developmental problems. We are still searching for a reason why. However, the latest genetics testing came back ok so, that is good. We think he is just our little miracle baby.
#3- Danny always makes me post these type of things.... Kirk was in the kitchen messing in some of the cabinets. He came around the corner and I saw him stick something in his mouth. He has this nasty little habit of eating medicine or paper...or anything besides food. So this is our back and forth:
Me-"What did you put in your mouth?"
Kirk- Silence
Me-"Was it food?"
Kirk- "Nope"
Me- "Was is medicine?"
Kirk- "Nope"
Me-"Was it candy?"
Kirk- "Nope"
Me- "Well, then what was it?"
Kirk- "A booger from my nose."
Great huh?

Cake Boss
I have become slightly obsessed with cake decorating shows as of late. I want to do this. Bad. So I took a for real try at it. I did this fondant once before and it was WAY too dry and weird, but this one turned out better. My poka-dots are a bit whop-sided, but that is fine with me.
