Am I a weirdo for being slightly saddened that I don't have to buy Kirk diapers and Joey formula anymore?

Birthday post to come!

"When did I get so old?" She asked herself as she sat teaching herself to knit on a Friday night.

Story of my life.

Sitting up like a big kid

This has been a hard one to master. He has so much tone in his legs that it has been hard to get them to relax all the way, usually he tips over. But, look at how well he is doing!

1-2-3 Diaper Free!!

I think that it is safe to say that we are potty trained around here! Whoop! Whoop! Sure, we have an accident every now and again when we get really busy. But, hey, it happens. I love this cute kid in his undies!

Growth Spurt

My almost 3 year old recently shot up 2 inches. Don't get me wrong. I am so happy that he is growing and everything is going normally. Hooray for that. But....he has outgrown all of his clothes...all of his NEW clothes. You can't tell in this picture for some weird reason, but he is totally flooding. We bought new shoes less than a month ago in a size bigger than what he normally wears. Now, his toes are poking at the ends. Bummer. He's still super cute though!!

3 degrees of glory

Using our Imagination

My almost 3 year old has been very imaginative as of late. Here are a couple of things that make me laugh.

-I'm pretty sure he has a imaginary pet snail named Cheech. He showed me an old "owie" yesterday and said that a snail named Cheech bit him. This morning he came in asking where Cheech was.

-This is the back of our closet door. On it hangs all the robes and coats that won't fit in the closet. He thinks that this is Gru from Despicable Me.

I love this kid!

Happy Birthday, Daddy-o!

Yesterday was my Daddy's birthday. We had an elegant dinner of KFC and Pizza Hut. He got a Nook. I made him a record player cake. Great day. Great guy. Love you, Daddy! (and yes, I did just say that in the voice of that fat kid from Shrek!)
