Williams Family Update!

Wow! It seems like it's been forever since I've blogged. The Williams Family has been super busy.
Danny: Danny is still doing amaizng in school. He will be finished with his first semester mid December. He is doing wonderful in all of his classes and ready to move on. He is also doing a super job managing his Movie Gallery. His store is the top in the district, and that's great, considering it is also the smallest. He is definantely taking good care of the family and our future.
Marca: I am still staying at home with the boy child. I have also started babysitting a little girl a couple of days a week. She is a couple of months younger than Kirk, so we have a good ole time. If I get everything finished by the deadlines, I will be going back to school part time in the spring. I hope to be majoring in computer programming....as if I'm not busy enough.
Kirk: Our baby boy is growing so fast! He is now 6 months old. At his checkup a few weeks ago he weighed in at 18.5lbs and was 27.5in tall. He has 2 teeth coming in on the bottom. It seems like we have been in the Dr.s office atleast once a week for the past month. He constantly has ear infections and no antibiotics are working for him so we have an appointment with an ear, nose, and throat doctor in a week to see about getting tubes put in his ears. When he feels well, he is the happiest baby in the world. He is already into EVERYTHING and NEVER sits still. He is doing the "worm" all around the house and has started pulling up on anything the right height. We are going to have to tie everything down when he starts walking.
We are all looking forward to this holiday seasons and what these next months have in store!

Does anybody know what time it is? Does anybody really care?

There are many things that go on in this great world of ours that I do not understand. Physics, sea monkeys, rap music....But the concept of daylights savings time takes the cake. Yes, I understand the whole more sunlight more outside work concept. Benjamin Franklin had a pretty good idea back in the 1700s and I am sure it is great for the farmers of the world. However, I doubt that good Ole Ben had a 6 month old he had just gotten on a schedule when he decided to flip the clocks around. Not only all day Sunday did I have no earthly idea what time it was, Kirk still hasn't gotten used to the idea. For the past 4 or 5 days he has been sick (something between a mixture of RSV and the flu the best I understand) so the kid has had a hard time of it anyway. Then, throw in the fact that the time he is used to isn't the correct time anymore and we have a pretty hectic day. He doesn't know when to go to bed, when to wake up, when to eat, and when to nap. Maybe this isn't that hard for other people out there. Maybe there is some trick to getting the hang of this time deal. But for this family, we still aren't sure what time it really is!
