Forth of July

What a great day the Forth was! We started off the day, glutting out on some mightly fine catfish at Mammaw B's house. Everybody was there, including our good friend Michael Byrd (who just so happens to be my sister's boyfriend). He got to meet the good ole family.
Me and Marlee got to have a great little photo op (except for the fact that she deleted them all, arg).
Later on, Dan went to work and my family came over and my other grandparents and we had burgers and home-made ice cream. Note to self......2 bowls of ice cream is MORE than enough. Strange fact, not sure if anybody knows this, but, ice cream has a bit of sugar in it. And, if one was to consume, say, more than 2 bowls, bad things like headaches, dizziness, and a really sad tummy just might happen. Then we shot fireworks. Second note to self.....never light the fireworks that explode in the air close to your viewing spot, debris just might fall in your eye and blind you.
Kirk seemed to really like his first Forth. The family seemed to enjoy him too!

Smiles!

We were talking just today about how everything babies do is so cute and amazing. This fact is absolutely true! How many of us ooh and ahh when our spouses smile or giggle? When our parents sleep more than 2 hours at a time, do we brag? Who out there sings a song, talks cutesy, or even cheers when it's potty time for our friends? For some of you, these things might actually happen, but for the most part, we only act this way around our dear sweet babies. Never in my life have I taken more pictures of one individual, just because he happens to be awake. Never has anything so trivial as a cute outfit, yawn, or growing hair caused so much commotion in a crowd. I have to say we are all lucky to have these precious little ones in our lives to help us remember how cute and amazing these everyday things that they do are. Here are a few of those cute and amazing moments little Kirk has given us we would like to share with you!

And yes, we do think he is the best thing since sliced bread! ;-)

Blessing Day

Today was Kirk's big day! His dad gave him a wonderful little blessing. We were very happy to have Uncle James, Uncle Ben, Uncle Mark, Aunt Kim, Aunt Camillla, Allie Grace, and Grammy all there with us. It was a great experience. Afterwards, Ben, James, Grammy, Aunt Marlee, and Pappaw Max all came up for a great little meal. Check out this kids awesome outfit, all thanks to Aunt Amanda! She is a wonderful little clothes maker. We are very greatful that Kirk got to have the opportunity to receive his blessing.

Basketball Jones

One thing, among the many, many things that Danny is talented at is basketball. I'm not the only one to feel this way. He likes the way he plays so much, he decided to tape a few of his sweet moves. Watch out John Stockton, you've got nothing on Danny Williams!

Bath Time Fun

At first, bath time for dear Kirky was a nightmare. Two words: sponge bath. He screamed bloody murder, his face turned red, and he cried until he lost his voice. Then, something new and crazy happened for him, a real big boy bath. He absolutely loves it. He tries his darndest to swim, I swear it. Once, as you'll see in the video, the poor kid decided that the warm water felt so great, a nap was needed. Maybe, we should have more than just one bath a day, and a few during the night too!

Here are a couple more videos for your viewing pleasure!

Our New Arrival!

We are happy to announce our newest arrival. At around 6:30 pm on May 31 we added this wonderful addition to our home. Coming in at about 1/2 an inch, we are proud to welcome, KIRK'S BELLYBUTTON!!! Danny changed his diaper, and much to his surprise, there was a little button right there in the middle of his tummy. Our little boy is becoming a man. What a great day in the Williams' household!

In other news....

June 22nd will be the day for Kirk's baby blessing. We are excited for this wonderful event in his life.

That is about all going on with the Williams clan at the moment. Updates are soon to come!
